"Breaking Bad" e "Modern Family" voltam a vencer o Emmy na edição 2014

"Breaking Bad" e "Modern Family" foram eleitas pelo segundo ano consecutivo as melhores séries da TV no Emmy, que foi realizado nesta segunda-feira (25). A 66ª edição da premiação mais importante da TV americana praticamente trouxe um repeteco do ano anterior e poucas surpresas.

A temporada final de "Breaking Bad" foi coroada pela Academia e a série levou os principais prêmios de sua categoria, incluindo Melhor série dramática, Melhor atriz e ator coadjuvantes e Melhor roteiro (só perdeu o de Melhor direção para "True Detective"). Em 2013, "Breaking Bad" já tinha sido eleita a melhor série de drama.

Na categoria comédia, "Modern Family" também repetiu a vitória do ano passado como Melhor série, além de ter ganhado outros dois Emmys (Melhor ator coadjuvante e direção) e desbancado a favorita da crítica/público "Orange is the New Black", que teve 13 indicações.

A britânica "Sherlock" foi bastante lembrada e conquistou três prêmios: Melhor ator em minissérie para Benedict Cumberbatch, Melhor ator coadjuvante em minissérie para Martin Freeman e Melhor roteiro de minissérie, ofuscando o telefilme da HBO "The Normal Heart".
